My father was an Atomic Veteran when I was 1 year old. We were all exposed to radiation, and many in my family have since died of various forms of cancer. I have a sister who was conceived right after his involvement and she is mentally retarded with severe epilepsy.  She also had cancer, melanoma, but has survived and I have been her Guardian for many years.  These experiences have been powerful teachers for me and have helped me learn about forgiveness, handling grief, and developing responsibility.

I have been health-challenged throughout my life which has lead me to a study of all kinds of alternative healing modalities. As I learned how to heal myself, I felt called to help others do the same. Hypnosis provided an incredibly important link in my own healing chain, so I became a hypnotherapist. I also work with NLP, Reiki, herbs, and more. I am a Life Coach and speak to groups. I have been in private practice for eight years.

I have been happily married for 29 years and have three adult daughters. One is currently looking for her Master's program having just graduated with her BA. We are very proud of her and happy that she has found her path in life.

My youngest daughter just entered the Coast Guard. She is a fabulous young woman as well, who is living her dream to be on a ship on the sea. We are also incredibly proud of her.

My oldest daughter is one of my Master Teachers in life. I am learning about patience and unconditional love from her.

Growing up, I experienced many 'para-normal' events which have given me a much different perspective on life. This has led to a driving passion to explore philosophies, comparative religions, spirituality, consciousness, metaphysics, dreams, quantum physics [at the the 'lay' level of course lol], and all kinds of stuff in between.

Right now I am involved in many different projects, including writing a book and CD set with one partner, working with another partner to develop a huge hypnotherapy related web site, reformulating and expanding my business and websites, formatting some of my manuals to be available as downloads, and preparing a new topic for an upcoming speaking engagement.

Since my purpose is to grow and expand as much as possible while I'm here, I can say that  I am going for it and playing at a 100%! I will write more in the blog as I get these farther along. I am new to the whole pod and blog thing, so that will be an exciting project in itself…just getting up to speed with all this new stuff…
